Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday - Saturday; 9am to Noon - Sunday (Winter Hours)
We're usually around before 7:30am from March through September (we don't sleep much during fishing season)
We are located two miles west of Canon City @ Skyline Dr on the West Bound side (49311 US 50 West, Canon City, CO 81212). We are in a 4000 sq. ft. log building and are flanked by Arkansas River Tours, our float and whitewater partner for 15 years. We also have on the property, the only fly shop operated lodge on the Arkansas River.
Owned and operated by Taylor Edrington, this flyshop will be in it's 25th year of operation in 2013. Taylor is the son of founder Bill Edrington who has since retired to days on the river and part time retail management. Taylor has been guiding the watersheds of Colorado for over a decade, and spent close to decade guiding at and managing several flagship fly out lodges in Alaska. Taylor is a global angler, and hosts fly fishing travel adventures to destinations in 5 continents, in addition to running RGA.
A full service fly shop, Royal Gorge Anglers stocks not only the top of line in fly fishing equipment; but, also custom flies you will not find anywhere else. We tie specifically for our rivers and support local tiers. It just happens to be that we have a few of the world's best tiers and designers in this area. Our signature tier is Mr. Larry Kingrey, a Whiting Pro and Idylwilde Designer. You can look at Larry's patterns. We carry most major industry brands, as well as the gear that you just can't find anywhere else, thus making us what we are.....25th Anniversary aka "Legit":
