This pattern is Larry's newest and can be tied in several colors. It uses Hareline's Ice UV dub and Holographic Mylar Motion. Use gold beads for a different look or a silver bead with siver dub and silver motion for a great attractor. Black and green works well for Baetis and a red one with a black bead is a good Red Quill nymph. Sizes #14 to #22 are best. Larry has them in Black (above), Gold, Red, Silver, Emerald, and Purple.

- Tips:
- Tie in tail, then ribbing, attach tinsel just in front of tail. Wrap Uni-Stretch in slight taper. Cover with tinsel, then rib. Hackle and finish. This fly should be slim and sparse. We like them in smaller sizes than traditional wets, #16 being a good average
One of Larry's best wet fly patterns that fishes very well through BWO hatches.
Dry Ice Drake

Hi-Vis Baetis
| RECIPE |
HOOK: Tiemco 100 #16-#22. |
- Use a small thread bump to flare the tail.

- Post is tied in 1 to 1 1/2 eye lengths behind hook eye. Body is tied to post and fly is finished directly in front of post.
High Voltage Pheasant Tail
| RECIPE |
HOOK: 1X long nymph hook 14-20; TMC3761 |
- Place bead on hook and start thread run to hook bend. Tie in tail; move thread back up shank to bead and tie in both pieces of wire. Wrap wire to hook bend and break or cut off. Tie in wing case where wire starts and whip a thread lock; be very conservative with thread wraps at this point so bead can be pushed over this spot. Move bead into thorax and fold wing case over bead. Tie in hackle placing two wraps in front of bead and whip finish.
This is an incredible new pattern from Curtis Andrews. It matches hot wire colors in a Pheasant Tail profile and fishes "lights out" for Baetis, Red Quills, and Caddis in appropriate sizes and colors. The Yellow/Orange combination in a #16 is a very strong Yellow Sallie pattern.

Great hatch matcher for tailwaters like the Platte and Frying Pan.
Striped Ape
| RECIPE |
Hook: 200R |
- Tying tip:
- Cut tie-in end of foam on an angle and bevel, and tie down tapered/beveled end. Tie in abdomen hackle one foam width (3mm) ahead of tail. Place one wrap of foam behind hackle, slightly firm, then wrap forward relaxing tension to create taper. Overlap same color to form stripes. Finish fly as regular stimulator.
This is the ultimate Stimulator for hopper/dropper rigs.....double color and foam body.
