SoCO Guides is our full service fishing adventure company. We offer a variety of trips and a fly fishing school. This company is designed so that you may stay with the same guide whether you fish in Colorado or Alaska. We are constantly adding options and trips so you can have the optimum experience for your money...a guide who is also a friend.
The Colorado School of Fly Fishing offers all levels of fly fishing instruction with emphasis being placed on learning the skills of the sport so you can be self sufficient. We have classes to meet every demand from multi-day to one hour.
Walk/wade or float sections of what is arguably the best 100 miles of wild Brown Trout river in the Rockies. We offer full day trips, half day trips, evening floats and combinations in concert with Arkansas River Tours, our float partner for over a decade.
The "Dream Stream" below Spinney is home to challenging resident fish as well as spawning runs of Rainbows and Cutthroat in the spring and Brown Trout in the fall. Many of these fish are in the ten pound class.

These three park County impoundments hold some of the most incredible trout found in any still water in the Rocky Mountains.
SoCO Guides now hosts several weeks in Alaska each season at very diverse lodges. Blueberry Island, Rainbow Pointe and Igiugig Lodge all offer a variety of fishing around the Lake Iliamna region and Katmai National Park. Please see our Alaska Trips for the details.
