South Platte River Guided Fishing Trips
The South Platte in Park County provides classic stream fishing on two tailwater stretches. Our main focus, the Charlie Myers SWA also coined as the "Dream Stream," is known to be one of the most challenging tailwater sections in North America; but can be very rewarding. This is a great winter fishery with Spring and Fall runs of Elevenmile Reservoir fish that can reach into the 10 plus pound range. The fall run Brown Trout and spring run Rainbows and Cutt-Bows are what make this section famous, however, it serves as a tremendous year-around resource!
Above Spinney Reservoir, The Middle Fork can produce great days on dry flies, with large spawning browns inhabiting it in the Fall. This can be a sleeper section, with very little pressure and can serve as one of the earliest of our spring dry fly fisheries......
