General Overview
With flows now stable at a phenomenal level and tricos active, fishing is really ramping on all sections of the South Platte in South Park. It'll be best to focus your efforts from the gauging station to the dam during the Summer months. Be prepared with full lifecycle of the BWO, Trico, Caddis, PMD, and Yellow Sally.Stream Conditions

Its Summer Primetime on the South Platte. Be ready for technical nymphing for much of your day, but be prepared with a dry fly rod for those PMD, BWO and Trico hatches...and don't be a opposed to throwing a streamer or a hopper as fish are opportunistic. Never a bad idea to throw an attractor nymph here and there, so keep a scud, leech or egg handy as well.
Spinney Mountain Ranch (Above Spinney Reservoir)
General Overview
Conditions are right where they need to be finally above Spinney. Fish will be focused on the same bugs as all other sections of the South Platte in South Park, however a Hopper/ Dropper does particularly well in this section! Be ready for technical nymphing at times, but focus on a dry fly rod for those PMD, BWO and Trico hatches.Stream Conditions
