Another of Charlie Craven’s must have patterns. Fish this emerger deep or right behind a dry fly on fluorocarbon tippet.

The Splatte Roller is maybe the best Caddis larva we have ever fished. Tremendous on all types of rigging during and before spring Brachy hatches.

John Barr’s Net Builder Caddis pattern. The buggy net builder similates this substrait dwelling bug very well. Complete back casing.

This is a must have for your fly box if you fish freestone rivers like the Arkansas and Roaring Fork.

This is a perfect example of an uncased Brachycentrus larva before it pupates. Fish it deep behind a heavy Stonefly nymph in the early mornings during spring.

This bright green larva is a tight body pattern that really matches the Brachycentrus larva when it’s tethered out of it’s case. Must have for Spring hatch.

John Barr’s simple but deadly caddis uncased Caddis larva. The first stage of pupation for a Brachycentrus.

A very buggy Caddis Pupa that really implies an emerging Caddis that is hugging the stream bed.

An excellent pattern on the swing or on a hopper/dropper rig.

The Z Wing is a terriffic bead head pupa pattern that works extremely well on the Mother’s Day hatch.

One of the oldest and best deep running bead head pupa. Gary LaFontaine was truly an innovative designer.

A nice rendition of a swimming caddis pupa hanging closer to the substrait.
